AMD Industries incorporated in 1983, is engaged in manufacturing of Crown Caps, Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) closures and Textiles. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of packaging articles being used in soft drinks, Beverages, water, beer, liquor and pharmaceutical industries. The company was incorporated as Ashoka Metal Décor.
In the year 2004 the company’s name was changed to AMD Metplast which was private limited company. Two year later i.e. 2006 it became public limited company.
Headquartered at New Delhi, the company owns three manufacturing facilities located at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) and Alwar (Rajasthan).
Company’s manufacturing facilities is well equipped with machineries import from SACMI of Italy and KRAUSS-MAFFEI of Germany. Company also has in-house R&D unit engaged in developing new products and processes.
The company has clientele that are big FMCG majors namely Coca Cola India, Pepsico India, Hindustan Unilever, Foster India, United Breweries, Dabur, and SAB Miller PLC.
The company owns subsidiaries namely AMD Estates & Developers and Prime Techno Build. ProductsCrown Caps-The Company is one of the largest manufacturers of Crown Caps in India. The company has installed capacity of producing 3,00,000 cases per annum.
CSD closures- The Company manufactures CSD closures for Carbonated Soft Drinks. The company has installed capacity of producing 60000 Caps/hr. The company offers complete solution in packaging due to which it has ventured into PET market by setting up PET Preform Project.
Textiles- Under this company manufactures Cotton Yarn, Trouser and Shirting fabrics etc. The company has production capacity of 65000 meters/day of processed fabric, 37,356 meters/day of weaving and 17,152 Kgs/day for spinning.
AMD Industries is focusing on diversifying its business activities for which it has acquired 26 acres of industrial land located at Uttarakhand to establish integrated textile unit.
The company has also entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with its subsidiary AMD Estates & Developers to develop a commercial land of approx. 5 acres situated at Gurgaon, Haryana.
