Hotline Teletube was incorporated on February 22, 1989. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing picture tubes, and other components related to television. It was promoted by Mukesh Agarwal and Anil Gupta.
After the decline in black and white TV industry, the company started manufacturing sheet metal parts for Color TV tubes. It has been supplying these parts to Hotline CPT.
In addition, the company exports its products to Bangladesh, Egypt, Russia, China, and Belarus. Hotline Teletube and Components is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
At present, the company produces parts for Hotline CPT only. It has plans to diversify into production of sheet metal parts for other companies within or outside the industry, as well as to fully utilize its capacity.
By August 1990, major plant and machinery were installed and trial runs were started. Establishment of the glass shell sealing plant was also completed. Through Research and Development the company has been able to develop new product mix 12, and 17 picture tubes.
In 2005, the company delisted itself from securities from Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) with effect from January 20, 2005.
The plant of the company is located at Malanpur Industrial Area, Distt Bhind (M.P).
