KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation incorporated in 1995 was promoted by Late Sri V. Ramakrishna. The company is engaged in business of manufacturing and marketing of Sugar and Bio-products.
Company’s manufacturing facilities are located at Vuyyuru and Lakshmipuram. Company’s Vuyyuru Unit is engaged in manufacturing sugar, Bio-Ethanol of 50 KLPD and has a power generation capacity of 15MV per day. This facility also manufactures Bio-Fertilizer, Organic Manure, Bio-Control Agents for Pest Control and Pharma grade Calcium Lactate.
Its Lakshmipuram unit is well equipped with modern machineries has crushing capacity of 4500 TCD. It also has captive power plant of 5 MW.
Company manufactures bio-products such as Nitrogen fixing bio-fertilizers, Phosphate Solubilizing bio-fertilizer, Mycorrhiza, Aqua Bio-fertilizer, Nitrosomonas and Nitrobachor for Aqua culture and Bio control Agents for Pest Control
Company was awarded Certificate in recognition of our achieving the promotion of bio-technology, the area of up-scaling and commercializing the Mycorrhiza technology by All India Biotech Association in the year 2001-02
The Company is also focusing in area of cane research to ensure sustainable and profitable crop for better recovery. For this it has established few sugar cane research farms to develop solutions in sugar cane farming, measures to deal with pest disease, good seeds, quality inputs and technical advice, resulting in profitable and sustained sugarcane farming.
Company was winner under Scheme I - National Safety Awards - for Lowest Average Frequency Rate in Industry
(Sugar Factory) for the year 2006.
Company was also winner under Scheme VIII - National Safety Awards - for Longest Accident-free period (Distillery).
The company owns subsidiaries namely Eimco-K.C.R and KCP Sugars Agricultural Research Farms.
KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation have some future plans which are as follows:-
To develop process know - how for manufacture of Lactic Acid from Calcium Lactate for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and leather industries.
To increase the capacity of Mycorrizha production from 350 MT per annum to 3000 MT per annum in a phased manner - in the first phase, to increase to 1400 MT p.a. - to meet the growing demand.
