Shree Ambeshwar Paper Mills was incorporated in the year 1980 by Shantilal Dave, a leading cloth merchant of Bombay along with his associates Devshankar Dave and Yeshwant Oza for setting up a 10 tonnes per day plant for manufacturing craft paper.
In 1985, Shree Ambeshwar Paper Mills expanded its capacity to 25 tonnes per day by installing an additional machine of 15 tonnes per day capacity. The raw material mix comprises 55% bagasse, 30% imported waste paper and 15% jute fibre. Shree Ambeshwar Paper Mills operations have been consistently profitable since inception and the company has been operating at high capacity utilisation (over 120%) in the last two years. Kraft paper produced by the company is marketed by a network of dealers mainly in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
