Total Exports was originally incorporated on June 24, 1982 as a Private Limited Company and later converted into a Public Limited Company on September 03, 1986. The company is presently implementing an export oriented high-tech electronic project to manufacture and duplicate 6 million numbers p.a. of 3.5 inches Micro Floppy Diskettes.
The project was initially taken up by the company to manufacture 1.80 million floppy diskettes per annum with a project outlay of Rs 265.00 lakh. During the implementation due to foreign exchange fluctuation, increase in custom duties and increasing of total installed capacity to 6.00 million duplicating diskettes per annum, the cost of the project was revised to Rs 465.00 lakh. The project was reappraised by Bank of India.
The company’s present promoters consist of Suresh Kumar, Rashmee Seengal and Santosh Grover. The company has entered into an agreement for technical knowhow with Atlantic Magnetics, Dublin in Ireland.
