The journey of Yarn Syndicate (YSL), the flagship company of the Patodia YSL group, started years ago in 1946 with an objective to carry on “in India or elsewhere the trade or business as dealers in yarns of all descriptions and varieties'. Late Madan Lal Patodia was the founder of YSL and enjoyed the unique privilege of being the chairman and managing director of the Group until December 2008 since the beginning.
YSL, after having done a successful business in India, is exporting to the neighboring countries for two decades. With a mission to get recognized globally, it entered the export market and became pioneers in cotton yarn exports and today is one of the leading exporters from India.
The ministry of commerce, Government of India, for the first time, recognized YSL as an Export House and then a Trading House.
YSL today legitimately takes pride in its phenomenal success in export trade and is now firmly established in the international market as a leading exporter of various yarns from India. Actively engaged in exports for more then four decades, We have not only been a pioneer among the merchant exporters of cotton yarn, but has also earned the distinction of being the largest establishment among merchant exporters of cotton yarn and was one of the biggest quota holder of EEC countries during the quota regime.
