IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for two Rural Electrification (RE) Works under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), and additional one Integrated Power Development Works (IPDS) of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL), Kolkata worth Rs 515.47 crore. DDUGJY–RE contracts are being funded by Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) and IPDS contracts are being funded by Power Financial Corporation (PFC).
The company has bagged orders for the projects involving RE Works under DDUGJY worth Rs 355.98 and for project involving IPDS worth Rs 159.49 crore. Total value of the three contracts is Rs 515.47 crore and completion schedule of work is 24 months.
