BEML has bagged a prestigious order worth Rs 1421 crore from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) for supply of 150 sets of Intermediate Metro Cars to augment the existing 3 Car Trains supplied by BEML to 6 Car trains. The supply of Intermediate Metro Cars to BMRCL shall commence from June 2018 and to be completed by December 2019. With the above order, the overall order book position of the company has crossed Rs 7500 crore mark.
