On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 31.65% rise in its net profit after tax, share of profit in joint ventures and associates at Rs 318.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 241.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 12.27% at Rs 3513.15 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 4004.32 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
