Lupin has received final approval for its Tobramycin Inhalation Solution USP, 300 mg/5 ml from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation’s TOBI 300 mg/5 ml. Lupin’s Tobramycin Inhalation Solution USP, 300 mg/5 ml is the AN rated generic equivalent of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation’s TOBI 300 mg/5 ml. It is indicated for the management of cystic fibrosis patients with P. aeruginosa. Tobramycin Inhalation Solution USP, 300 mg/5 ml had US sales of $133.6 million as per IMS MAT December 2016.
Siemens has bagged an order worth around Rs 187.4 crore from Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), Dhaka. The project includes construction of new 33/11 kV Air Insulated Switchgear substations in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. The project is part of BREB’s efforts to upgrade the country’s rural electricity distribution system and will contribute to accomplishing the Government of Bangladesh’s Vision of ‘Electricity for All by 2021’.
Ujaas Energy has received an order from Indraprastha Power Generation Company (IPGCL) for implementation of Grid connected Rooftop Solar PV system of 669 Kwp under capex model in selected GNCTD schools & schools & other Government Buildings in Delhi. Last year in December, the company had received Letter of Intent from MOIL for Design, Engineering, Procurement & Supply, construction, erection, testing & Commissioning of Solar PV Plant with Tracking system on turnkey basis 5.0 MW (AC) in Maharashtra.
Union Bank of India has sold its entire stake of 5% comprising 12,50,000 shares in TransUnion CIBIL (TUCIBIL) to TransUnion International Inc (TUI). The deal was concluded on March 22, 2017 at the rate of Rs 1,525/- per equity share for a total consideration amount of Rs 190.62 crore. The Bank has reported 32.42% rise in its net profit at Rs 104.00 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 78.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 8.95% at Rs 9589.45 crore for Q3FY17 as compared Rs 8802.06 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
NHPC has inked a Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in respect seven power stations with Tata Power- Delhi Distribution (TP-DDL) for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of respective power stations. The seven power stations are Bairasiul, Salal, Tanakpur, Chamera-I, Uri-I, Sewa-II and Chamera-III and PPAs has been signed on March 22, 2017. The said PPAs are for a period of 35 years from the date of COD of last unit of respective power stations or balance useful life of respective power stations.
Dilip Buildcon has emerged as a lowest bidder (L-1) for Rs 3269 crore road projects in Maharashtra. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has declared Dilip Buildcon as the successful bidder (L-1) for three projects in a single stretch in the state of Maharashtra. The projects include four-laning of Mahagaon to Yavatmal section of NH-361 (package II) at a project cost of Rs 1,160.64 crore and four-laning of Yavatmal to Wardha section of NH-361 for Rs. 1,043.28 crore. The other project is for four-laning of Warciha-Butibori Section of NH-361 at a cost of Rs. 1,065.51 crore. All the projects are under hybrid annuity mode and would be done under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP).
