Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) may acquire the government’s 51.11% stake in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL). This will be followed up with an open offer to acquire additional 26% from other shareholders of HPCL. The deal for the 77.11% stake would be worth Rs 44,000 crore or around $6.6 billion at current market prices. The deal is a follow-up on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s Budget announcement of creating an integrated oil company.
NHPC has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GRIDCO, Government of Odisha on February 21, 2017. The PPA is in respect of an up-coming Teesta-IV Project, West Bengal & Teesta-V Power Station, Sikkim for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of the project/power station.
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) (TRIL) has been awarded the order for 39 no of Transformers and Reactors amounting to Rs 153 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). With this order, the company’s order book as on date stands around Rs 1,020 crore. Last year in December, the company had been awarded the order for 40 no of 15MVA and 40 no of 20MVA Power Transformers with Natural/synthetic Ester Oil of 66 kV Class amounting to Rs 92 crore from GETCO.
Sambhaav Media (SML) has won FM Radio channels for 13 cities, through e-auction undertaken by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) for Second Batch of Private FM Radio Phase - III Channels. The cities include Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Bharuch, Godhara, Mehsana, Veraval, Porbandar, Junagadh of Gujarat and Poonch, Leh, Bhaderwah, Kargil, and Kathua of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dilip Buildcon has successfully completed the project of Rehabilitation and Up-gradation of Mandla-Pindrai & Salimnabad-Vilayatkalan Major District Road Intermediate laning/two laning with paved/hard shoulder in the state of Madhya Pradesh on Engineering Procurement and Construction [EPC) mode and the total project cost is Rs 190.80 crore. The company has completed the said project 185 days prior to the schedule completion period and due to the earlier completion of the Project, the company is entitled to receive maximum allowable of 3% Bonus i.e. Rs 5.72 crore of the project cost from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
