Wipro has opened an Automotive Engineering Center (AEC) in Detroit. The center aims to drive innovation in connected vehicle concepts - design, product engineering, digital customer-vehicle experiences, artificial intelligence, and sensors-driven advanced vehicle data analytics. The Wipro’s AEC is part of Wipro’s vision to build a global network of delivery centers that offer best-in-class engineering and IT services, augmented by leading-edge automotive domain and digital solutions.
Godrej Properties (GPL) will develop a 7.5 acres land parcel on Bellary road (NH-7) in North Bangalore. The company plans to develop a residential housing project of around 75,000 square metres (800,000 square feet). The project is located in a premium residential area, with close proximity to the commercial and industrial catchment areas of Hebbal, Yeshwantpur, and Devanahalli. NBCC has signed a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) with Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation (VIDC), Nagpur, Government of Maharashtra. VIDC has allotted the balance works of construction of irrigation Scheme in Vidarbha under the Gosikhurd National Project to NBCC for a total value of Rs 6,000 crore. The MoU for the first phase of the work valued at Rs 1,058 crore is planned to be signed between VIDC and NBCC on March 16, 2017 at Mumbai.

TV Today Network has completed acquisition process of 74,887,389 equity shares of India Today Online (ITOPL) (representing 100% paid-up share capital of ITOPL) from Living Media India. Pursuant to this, ITOPL has become wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The company has completed acquisition process of 33,042,625 equity shares of Mail Today Newspapers (MTNPL) (representing 25.21% of the total paid-up share capital of MTNPL) from A.N. (Mauritius).Consequently, the company along with its wholly owned subsidiary company ITOPL holds 131,087,016 equity shares of MTNPL (representing 100% of the paid-up share capital of Mail Today Newspapers).
Tata Power Solar Systems, 100% subsidiary of Tata Power, has expanded and modernised its cell and module manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The two-stage expansion doubled the company's module capacity to 400 MW from 200 MW and increased its cell manufacturing capacity by 65 per cent from 180 MW to 300 MW. Tata Power Solar, as part of this process, modernised and fully automated its entire manufacturing facility. The company was also able to ramp-up to full capacity in record time, significantly better than global benchmarks, owing to its highly skilled and trained team and also improve efficiency of its modules.
